the dombek drum has a clear sound and a combination of deep and high tones. the range from a subtle tone to a loud slap makes it great for drum circles or just jamming. the dombek can be played several different ways. traditionally it is
played while sitting down. the drum is placed in your lap with the head
of the drum facing your right leg. each ceramic drum is unique. the drums are made of high-fired stoneware which is hand-carved and individually glazed. the drum heads are made of goat skin tightly stretched and glued to reduce the effects of humidity. visit www.filagreemusic.com - tim mcmullen / steve schmidt duo. |
